Scope Media announces newest member of their team
MEDIA RELEASE FROM SCOPE MEDIA:
Southern Lakes based public relations and communications company, Scope Media, is delighted to announce digital media specialist Jimmy Sygrove has joined their team.
Jimmy joins Scope as a Senior Communications Consultant after five years working in Wellington in a variety of public and private communications and PR roles.
Immersion in the government environment has given Jimmy rounded marketing and communications experience from developing and implementing numerous campaigns, to leading social media strategies that are now used as examples across multiple government departments.
Jimmy also specialises in digital strategy, and can help clients develop multi-layered campaigns using traditional media, as well as targeted PR, social media and digital elements to reach an audience.
Working with Maritime New Zealand on the 2011 Rena grounding in Tauranga led to hands-on experience in crisis management, including first response, media management, stakeholder and community engagement. He has also worked on several high profile projects for the Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI), conducted media training for MPs and executives, and coordinated nationwide conferences for large corporate organisations.
Director at Scope Media, Celia Crosbie says: “We are thrilled to have Jimmy on board, his skill set matches our company perfectly. His comprehensive experience will be really beneficial to our clients.”
Based in Queenstown, Jimmy is relishing the lifestyle offered in the Southern Lakes, and feels that Scope Media has a lot to offer the region’s businesses. “The Southern Lakes area has so much going on and this is increasing rapidly. I think with Scope’s progressive digital and communications knowledge combined with more traditional media and PR experience, there is a real opportunity for the company to grow within the region.”
“My wife and I moved down here in January and the area is delivering on everything we hoped it would. Between the people, the scenery, and the outdoor activities available right on our doorstep, this is a very special place to call home.”
