New competition runs alongside Air New Zealand Queenstown International Marathon

A nationwide competition offering the chance to win three unforgettable Queenstown experiences has launched, in the lead up to the highly anticipated Air New Zealand Queenstown International Marathon.

New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty (NZSIR) is running the Three Moments competition to celebrate its sponsorship of the Queenstown Half Marathon.

Open to the general public, the Three Moments competition gives entrants the opportunity to experience one of three incredible Queenstown attractions. A scenic flight for six in a Eurocopter with Over the Top Helicopter Company can be won, as can a weekend break in the luxury four-bedroom villa ‘Atanga’, and a private Queenstown Wine Trail tour followed by a decadent dinner at the Amisfield Bistro. NZSIR national marketing director Clodagh Hall says the competition complements the agency’s sponsorship of the globally recognised event.

“With thousands of athletes travelling from all over New Zealand – and the world – to participate in the New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty Half Marathon, as part of the Air NZ Queenstown Marathon, now is the ideal time to showcase our region,” she says. “The Three Moments have been designed with an emphasis on the finer things in life; our aim is to provide the prize winners with a unique, memorable experience that will leave them with great memories of Queenstown and have them wanting to return.”

The Half Marathon field has sold out the past two years and 2016 is shaping up to be another good year. Hall says the premium event is a perfect fit for the NZSIR brand.

Runners, supporters and the general public can enter the Three Moments competition by visiting and registering their details via the “About Us” page. The prize draw will take place late November and winners will be notified by phone and email.

The winner will enjoy a two-night stay in the exclusive villa ‘Atanga’ on Queenstown Hill. The luxury home sleeps up to eight people and features a contemporary open-plan living area, balcony, courtyard and spa pool. Valued at $1900.

Queenstown Wine Trail Private Twilight Food and Wine Experience
This first-class wine trail, valued at $858, includes wine tasting and presentation at three of the region’s best wineries, followed by a decadent dinner at the award-winning Amisfield Bistro.
