Scope Media’s latest stories have been picked up by local and national media recently.

News that Queenstown Resort College’s message of tourism as a serious career option was reiterated by Deputy Prime Minister Bill English – and that got the attention of New Zealand’s leading tourism industry publication, Inside Tourism. IT is read by major international organisations such as the Pacific Asia Travel Association and the United Nations World Travel Organisation, as well as all New Zealand national travel and tourism organisations, the CEOs and managers of all airlines, coach companies, rental car firms, hotel chains and other accommodation providers. Queenstown Resort College‘s story was the lead story in the November 21 edition.

The story also appeared in the Queenstown and Wanaka editions of The Mirror on November 13 and in Mountain Scene on November 14 and was discussed on Classic Hits on November 14.

Community organisations eager to take up a fundraising opportunity at the 2014 Wanaka A&P Show responded after learning about the Show’s latest news. This story was on Radio Wanaka, wanakalive.com, in The Mirror and the Wanaka Sun.

News that mountain bike entries at the 2014 Motatapu event closed in record time was picked up by publications including the Otago Daily Times.
